🗣️ Bruno Fernandes: "I will never forget where I was when I was given the opportunity to come here four years ago. I was standing in the closet in our bedroom in Lisbon. I have been consistent in saying that no midfielder in world football can do what Bruno does for us in this set up. The level of creation, ball progression, and ball recovery responsibility we ask of him shouldn’t be asked of any player. Only Bruno can fulfill those responsibilities. I hope Bruno stays with us for years and retires at United, but if he ever leaves you need multiple signings in different positions to replace his contribution on the pitch.

Good decision from Amorim over the summer to ask Bruno to stay. No amount of money could have replaced his on pitch and off pitch contribution to Manchester United right now.
