@SkyNews I thought Birmingham was bankrupt… £102 million is the reported cost, yet only recently visitbirmingham were boasting how Birmingham is ‘brilliant for buses’. In Andy Burnham’s world does the title ‘PM’ just stand for ‘pretend mayor’? More taxpayer money down the drain…
@JuliaHB1 Maybe ‘Count Binface’ should stand as ‘Count Postbox’ against Ed Davey. That would be a lot closer result than against Nigel Farage. He might even win !
@alexburghart Wonder how much it actually cost to send that emergency message last night ? Will we get one soon advising us all not to run with scissors or accept lifts from strangers…
@Emotion78687 I was there, stood on the front row, very close to Carly, and watched her sing for about 30-40 minutes in early April 1995 - she was amazing. She stopped after about 10 songs and asked people to move around as it was supposed to be a moving audience.
@bt_uk We are currently leaving BT business contract after being a customer for decades. The last straw was a botched order for fibre broadband ending with a case via Ofcom, and our move to another supplier. BT then closed our account and appear to have blocked our online a/c
I’ve had emails asking for me to return some equipment, but without access to our online portal it is difficult to arrange for an envelope to be sent. I have one sent through a few months ago (we don’t know why), but can I use that to send the equipment back ?
@DavidLammy You are one of a very small number of people who think that way. Out here in the real world you’re making a mess by targeting decent working people and pensioners with increased taxes and IHT/SIPP changes, so you can pass more to your voter base in welfare payments.
@LibbyTard17@CarpeDipem You can’t become a millionaire from saving a few thousand a year in an ISA - it would take 300-500 years to do that. Those with serious amounts of money don’t hold it in the UK or in ISA’s
@LibbyTard17 I wouldn’t say he’s been the best PM in history, and his communication with the public has been very flat and at times uninspiring. The last time we had a PM that had >5 years in office was David Cameron who had more charisma even if you didn’t like him.
@HonestHalo@Keir_Starmer It’s what the end of a contract period looked like. Now it’ll all be downhill in good old Labour fashion - only further and faster than ever before (and I’m not talking about the trains)
@LukePollard I’d look forward to it as well if it would change anything for the better. GWR does a much better job than Cross Country in running services down here Devon - the only thing that needs fixing is the long distance fare structure but I doubt you’ll make it cheaper…
