Today some will reject Jesus. However, all who receive the Son of God become true children of God. This privilege is a result of believing and by right we are now part of the family of God. He extends grace and we reach out with faith to receive the hope we need.

Today we are living w/ the consequences from the choices we made yesterday. What we will be tomorrow is determined on the choices we make today. Choose wisely this day who will control your life.
Today I am tempted to quickly respond to the tragedy in Texas. Instead, I will listen and pray so that my reaction may resemble that of Jesus and less like Peter's when our Lord was betrayed. In listening, I hope to gain empathy and in praying I hope to gain understanding.

We are bridge builders - a bridge between God and all the ppl around us. We do this by being a holy nation and a kingdom of priests. We are privileged to live in covenant w/ God and share His words of promise. Ex. 19:5-6; 1 Peter 2:5, 9.

Today - Jesus will ask you, “Do you love me?” Will you do what He asks?
No matter how much we mess up or massively fail Him, our Master is there to mold us into His likeness and remake us for His glory. We can deny our faith in Jesus but He cannot deny His love for us. He asks, “Do you love me?”

Two weeks ago I exercised my constitutional duty (Nov.). Now it’s on to the electors to complete this process (Dec.). I patiently wait and pray for a result that brings respect and support to our constitutional republic and a peaceful inauguration (Jan.) for our country.
