What's the first book that made you love fantasy? Mine was the Harry Potter series. Looking for recommendations for what to read while I wait for beta reader feedback. #BookTwt
@Lynnette_Novak From the outline as a guide. I am an analytical thinker that can sometimes get stuck in โprocessโ mode and follow the outline as a hard sequence of events instead of a guide and letting the book expand naturally. All fun growth areas as time has progressed ๐
@Zoejwalker Oh they of course would be. They are the backbone of a lot of modern systems we have today. But knowing what electricity is and burning candles all day would be different.
I've read enough manuscripts to know โ the middle is where most stories quietly fall apart. Not dramatically. Just slowly. Scenes start existing instead of mattering. Writers, your middle needs a clock. Something ticking. #AmWriting#WritingCommunity"
@BetaCynthia7723 Ooffff itโs like you read my manuscript 2 weeks ago. I realized it was very much this.
Location, something happens, how character feelsโฆ
New location.
Dynamite insight more people need to hear!
@SoulEngine78 Love that. I find myself liking the worlds that are built more than the characters most the time. When the book (s) are over being sad I cannot explore the world more.
