As with every other good thing, the 2024 People’s Meeting - Folkemødet- has come to an end.

We joined our Danish friends for this year’s edition, where the Centre for Multiparty Democracy Kenya sent a delegation from the PDF Secretariat and from various political parties to attend the event in Allinge, Denmark.

The Meeting, which is the inspiration for the People Dialogue Festival, continues to serve as a great source of inspiration, linking and learning experience for us. We look forward to using the lessons learnt here in 🇩🇰 to improve our very own democracy festival!

🙎🏾‍♀️A Workshop on The Representation and Influence of Women in Local Politics
🙎🏾‍♀️Visit to the Municipality of Bornholm, for dialogue with a member of the Council for Red Green Alliance.

Officially opened by Director Hon. @SirajFegessa, the second workshop on Capacity Building Training for Conflict Prevention, Management, and Resolution (CPMR) commenced today.

Youth leaders from IGAD Member States are actively participating in the event scheduled to run from the 17th to the 19th of November 2023 in Adama, Ethiopia.

The workshop aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of youth leaders in CPMR, fostering their understanding and familiarity with principles, tools, and their applicability to #Peace and #Security.
