@SubwayTakes people in nyc should have to obtain a license for texting and walking so the less skilled actually pay attention when they’re out in these streets— 100% agree?????
Shout out to @NYCMayor for crushing it with childcare services. Now is it possible to plug the subway back in after Cuomo stole millions of dollars from the MTA??? These train delays are killing me😭
A true visionary who is empowering us to look forward and to have faith that a better future is possible. Shout out to the south asian community for cultivating a real one!!! #nycmayor#voteforzohran
I’m so encouraged by the possibility of having a mayor who has continued to fight bigotry and racism every day to deliver for working people. Despite facing some of the most heinous, islamaphobic rhetoric, he has continued to show up with with consistency and enthusiasm.
@narendramodi Prime Minister Modi, I’m an NRI visiting Gurgaon, Haryana and am deeply saddened by all of the abandoned cows all over the major roads. The stray cows are extremely malnourished, without food and water, and many of them are getting injured and feeding on trash.
Sometimes I just reflect on this year and think about how hard it’s been for teachers. There are too many days I walk away from my computer feeling defeated. I know so many others are feeling the same. Can’t wait to be out of this mess😔 #virtuallearning#teacherlife
In person learning prior to the pandemic was nowhere near perfect. Hopefully, school leadership plans to adopt some of the more positive aspects of remote learning as we transition back into classrooms. #remotelearning#virtualteaching
Remote learning has been ROUGH but there are some good things that should carry over to in person learning, such as incorporating technology, consistent communication with families, teacher autonomy over curriculum, an hour long lunch, frequent movement breaks, and more.
Me reading a book about animal homes with my students: Why do you think a home is important?
Student: Because our homes keep us safe from the coronavirus!
See... even five year olds get it. #StayHomeStaySafe#ThePandemicIsNotOver
