I was delighted to chat to @janeyleegrace on @ukhealthradio about food, nutrition and we need to stop dieting but about the small things we do every day that can transform our health and how Renew Reset Recharge ticks all the boxes!

@IanMarber I am pretty sure that I read the miracle cure was Hula Hoops. Oh and something else, but I can’t remember what…..so maybe just go with Coco-pops and be safe. 😂
@anhcampaign I am concerned that ANH is becoming extremely one-sided with its reviews on the covid vaccination. As a nutritional therapist I’m wondering if this damaging our profession? In order for people to make an informed decision, both sides of the argument need scientifically discussed

Poor girl! It comes to something when you champion your cause on prime-time TV and your fellow comrades turn on you! Can we not be kind and less sanctimonious!
@LucindaNatDoc @JoannaBlythman@zoeharcombe 🤮 I find this really hard to get my head round. Assuming this new ‘cheese’ has been made more solid, can be grated, has a longer shelf life and is as cheaper to produce. It’s actually not that long ago that real organic food is what our grandparents simply called ‘food’.
@nick_the_geek78 Because sometimes, it is just the right thing to do. Yes everyone has a choice and we all wish we knew a bit more, but we are all in this together. One persons body is not more precious than somebody else’s. Actively making a decision not to do something doesn’t make it right.
Just visited my mum in a care home - where I was asked only about respiratory symptoms and i had to have my temperature checked - all worthless tests now. This lack of education is keeping infections high and will start to kill our most vulnerable soon. Come on @PHE do something!
Thoughts on this? Are we, in the main, self-medicating our way out of bad diet? 2 x yearly shots surely reduces motivation to change diet/ lifestyle and makes fine tuning meds more difficult.

@LucindaNatDoc Seriously worrying, but mostly concerning because ultra processed foods are so ubiquitous and well disguised in our supermarkets that many items are now considered to be general food items and in some cases; eg breakfast cereals or bread as healthy choices or healthier options.
https://t.co/mc8qZmji1Q This report is over 280 pages long and will take time to get through. I will summarise it when I have digested it. So far the media has not been painting a promising picture. I’m hoping that in the detail there are some more positives to come out of it.
@IanMarber Also -to let people know the full report is 280 pages and is available to read online- I will definitely formulate a stronger and hopefully more balanced opinion when I have read it all!
@IanMarber Problem is:
1. Likely to drive reformulation which the sugar tax showed can drive sales of UPF up.
2. Does not change perception. UPF’s affected are still considered to be ‘food’.
3. It doesn’t push subsidies on natural healthy food.
4. Food industry set to win not our health
