🚨 RAHUL GANDHI CLAIMS:
“Manufacturing Has Been Destroyed By Demonetisation And GST, One sees Made in China, Vietnam and Bangladesh, but not ‘Made in India’.”
REALITY: FALSE ❌
To claim that manufacturing has been destroyed is not just misleading — it is completely detached from ground reality.
• Mobile-phone production rose from ₹18,900 crore to ₹6.27 lakh crore, while exports surged from ₹1,566 crore to ₹2.60 lakh crore. PLI schemes for Large Scale Electronics Manufacturing have attracted over ₹96,000 crore of investment.
• Electronics production rose from roughly ₹1.9 lakh crore in 2014-15 to ₹13.11 lakh crore in 2025-26 — a 7X increase. Electronics exports rose 11X to ₹4.24 lakh crore.
• The question is simple: How can manufacturing be called “destroyed” when production, investment and exports have all multiplied?
• Global supply chains are moving to India. Companies like Apple, Foxconn, Tata Electronics and Samsung are actively expanding manufacturing and supply chains in India.
• The mobile ecosystem currently supports around 12 lakh direct and indirect jobs, with MeitY schemes alone creating over 5.3 lakh targeted jobs.
• GST replaced a fragmented tax structure with a unified “One Nation, One Tax” system, broadening the tax base and integrating MSMEs into national supply chains.
• Demonetisation accelerated India’s transition towards digital payments and helped create the ecosystem around UPI — today one of the world’s leading digital payment networks.
• Data centre capacity expanded fourfold, from 375 MW to 1,500 MW.
• Across PLI schemes, over ₹2.40 lakh crore has been attracted in investment, generating 14.15 lakh+ jobs and driving ₹15.2 lakh crore+ in exports.
The data tells a very different story from Rahul Gandhi’s claim.
🇮🇳 MADE IN INDIA IS NOT A SLOGAN. IT IS A GROWING MANUFACTURING STORY.
🚨 RAHUL GANDHI: ANOTHER MISLEADING CLAIM
Claim: “Former President Ram Nath Kovind was denied entry into Pushkar Temple because he was a Dalit.”
Reality: FALSE ❌
There is no credible evidence that Kovind was denied entry to the temple because of his caste.
Yet, the Congress narrative fueled controversy and risked unnecessary caste tensions. A temple priest was also reportedly attacked amid the controversy.
Facts matter. Caste politics shouldn’t. ❌
