Twisting truth, erasing traces.
Claims of gain from chains, disgraces,
History's truth, his voice erases.
Uncompensated labor, harsh and cruel,
Their sweat and blood, a tyrant's jewel.
Yet, 'gainst this narrative, he plays the fool,
Ignoring the truth, history's rule.
The lash's kiss, a torment stark,
Invisible chains, leaving their mark.
Yet in his tale, there's no such dark,
All suffering, by his words, disembark.
Families shattered, love torn apart,
The deepest wound, a broken heart.
Yet from this pain, he stands apart,
A sanitized version, he'd impart.
Lurid tales of lust, rape, and pain,
Innocence lost, nothing to gain.
Yet of these horrors, he'd feign,
A false narrative, his political gain.
Yet, the sun of truth in time will glance,
Exposing the fiction of his dance.
For even as he takes his stance,
