When we rise above the barriers of caste, creed, religion, and region to unite simply as 'Indians,' the true sanctity of the tricolor will shine, and the dream of this movement will finally come home. #HarGharTringa #15August #Jayhind #india

Har Ghar Tiranga' is not merely a campaign—it is a sacred celebration of our devotion to the nation. True transformation will dawn only when the tricolor that flutters above our roofs ripples with equal pride within every Indian heart. #HarGharTringa #15August #Jayhind #india

We reflect on the life of Dr BR Ambedkar and his timeless values of justice and dignity on his 136th birth anniversary. A fierce defender of human rights, Babasaheb’s vision of an equal world is at the heart of the Sustainable Development Goals and our work at the United Nations

[Ravindra Pokharkar @R_Pokharkar]

The behaviour of the SBI Branch Manager in Surya Nagara, Anekal Taluk refusing to speak in Kannada & English and showing disregard to citizens, is strongly condemnable.

We appreciate SBI’s swift action in transferring the official. The matter may now be treated as closed.

However, such incidents must not recur. All bank employees must treat customers with dignity and make every effort to speak in the local language.

I urge the @FinMinIndia & Dept of Financial Services to mandate cultural and language sensitisation training for all bank staff across India. Respecting local language is respecting the people.

Akanksha Kamble, a 24-year-old from Thane, is set to become India’s first Deaf woman in art conservation and the first person with a disability globally to be accepted into Venice’s prestigious School for Curatorial Studies.

Her journey is not just a personal milestone but a challenge to systemic barriers in the arts, amplified by financial hurdles.
