If a bunch of your Half-Life 2 achievements are missing you need to go launch the old standalone Episode 1 and 2 apps at least once, load a save then go back to the new Half-Life 2 app and open Episode 1/2 and they'll pop

@VinciusMedeiro6 I think it was made like this for the game to not break from the differences in the engine of episodes. loading a hl2 map while ep 2 is selected results in a broken map. also steamdeck ui doesn't change backgrounds in menu. this effect instead happens when you enter a map

@VinciusMedeiro6 which also changes the configuration of the engine, but it's more like map specific. you can test this by listing the maps on the console. episode 1 and 2 maps won't show if half life 2 is selected.
