“The intent of the Father’s great plan of happiness is your happiness, right here, right now, and in the eternities. It is not to prevent your happiness and cause you instead worry and fear.” - @PatrickKearon#GeneralConference
“Some have wrongly assumed that because all people are invited to receive His goodness and eternal life, there are no conduct requirements. However, the scriptures attest that all accountable persons are required to repent of sins and keep His commandments.” - @cookquentinl #GeneralConference
Today we honor women in all circumstances around the world.
Dear sisters, I say to you as I have said before: We need you! We need your strength, your conversion, your conviction, your ability to lead, your wisdom, and your voices. I love you and pray for you each day.
At different times in the Savior’s life, He took opportunities to be alone to ponder and pray. I invite you to spend some time in the next few days to be alone in a quiet place to commune with your Heavenly Father. #HearHim
In 1820 Joseph Smith faced commotion and confusion, crowds and contention. There is still plenty of that in our world. Yet, both then and now, our Heavenly Father beckons to us: “This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!” (Joseph Smith—History 1:17). #HearHim

In a lifetime of reading, the Book of Mormon stands preeminent in my intellectual and spiritual life, a reaffirmation of the Holy Bible, a voice from the dust, a witness for Christ, the word of the Lord unto salvation. I testify that it is the word of God.
My friends, life will challenge you. Difficulties will come. Heartbreaks will strike. So, wherever you are going, make your way to Christ first. Make your covenants with Him and keep them as you journey on.
The Lord Jesus Christ atoned for us. As we repent, He has the power to forgive, redeem us from sin, change our hearts, strengthen us, and keep us on the path to our Heavenly Father.
We are all far from perfect. You and I each have challenges, frustrations, and concerns. We are human, therefore we do human things. But please also remember that you are capable of great, life-changing, and heroic deeds.
When we face challenges and afflictions, we may feel discouraged or perhaps forgotten.
In the midst of your tribulations, you can find the peace that you need through the serene power of prayer. Heavenly Father hears your prayers.
I have had associations with the good people of China for decades. These are our dear brothers and sisters and we feel privileged to be able to offer some small measure of help. We pray for them, and know God will bless them.
In life, we will all stumble. Always stand up again. You may definitely be disappointed at times. Never be discouraged or without hope. Move forward. Repent. “Rise again.”

As we go forward with our lives, we will certainly have many questions. In my persistent, prayerful pondering, I have never found a better, shorter answer to our many questions than a thorough knowledge and total faith in the love of our Heavenly Father and His plan of salvation.
Pray to Heavenly Father daily. Share with Him what is in your heart. I promise you, He will guide you. He will not let you down. He trusts you. Please trust Him.
