@EDAnimation Yeah, that is possibly I little excessive. I know I have brought people into studio for a days work, given them a mock brief and left them to that for the day. You can generally get a good overview of their potential from that.

@EDAnimation Only to be let down later down the line after realising they couldn’t really do everything they had said they could. It’s a tough one I know but some degree of trialing people can be quite important

@EDAnimation I’ve worked for many years in the creative industry. And have also held positions where I’ve had to recruit people. I think testing people is quite important as I have on a couple of occasions employed people just from meeting potential recruits and viewing their portfolio.
