Golden Rule of Web3:

🔑 The Private Key = The Mailbox Key.

This is the physical key that opens the box. ONLY the person holding this key can take the letters (assets) out or send them to someone else. Guard it with your life.

Fast forward to today. When we interact with decentralized networks, we don't shift letters by 3. We use complex math like Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECDSA).

But the ancient goal remains the same: using mathematical keys to secure data, prove identity, and build trust! 💻🌍

Julius Caesar didn’t have Web3 or smart contracts, but over 2,000 years ago, he laid the foundation for the cryptography we use today.

This introduced the two core pillars of cryptography: 1️⃣ The Algorithm: The method (shifting letters). 2️⃣ The Key: The specific rule (shifting by 3).
If the general knew the key, they could reverse the math and read the order. If not, the data was useless. 🔑

This week's session took builders deeper into the fundamentals behind Avalanche, covering the Primary Network, the roles of the X-Chain, P-Chain, and C-Chain, L1s, and the Avalanche CLI.

To wrap up, participants built and deployed a simple loyalty points smart contract, applying the concepts through hands-on development.

With each session, our builders are gaining the skills to create gamified applications and real-world business solutions on Avalanche.
