@haleyc1232 Sadly back then they did not know what they do now about proper disposal. They had no idea what it would do the environment. Hindsight being what it is, I think they would have handled things differently if they knew then what they know now.
@JohnnyVigil15 This was heartbreaking to read about. Our own government locked up some of its own citizens out of fear. I wonder what would happen if they tried doing that today. How much do you think the people would revolt?
@JohnnyVigil15 That's interesting. I'm sure not matter where we look we will find mixed claims on the subject. However, I was always taught majority rules. So if the majority of research says it started in LA then that's where it started.
