On 10 April 2012, at Umbhaba Lodge near Hazyview in Mpumalanga, 43-year-old Loderick Foxon, known as Dave, was shot dead in cold blood right in front of his pregnant wife Bianca and their two young sons, Regan and Braydon.

Two men entered the house after the garage door was left open while the family was about to sit down for dinner. They tied up Dave and his wife with cable ties and started ransacking the place. Dave managed to free himself and confronted one of the robbers. That's when they shot him, twice in the head and once in the leg, killing him instantly in front of his terrified pregnant wife and little boys.

One robber was already in Dave's idling car ready to flee. Bianca ran outside screaming for help, and a security guy from Hi-Tech found her. Hazyview had been hit hard by these attacks, with businesses closing out of fear.

This wasn't some random accident. It was a vicious home invasion that left a pregnant woman widowed and children fatherless in one of the most evil ways possible.

In May 2013, in the peaceful Boland town of Wellington, elderly couple Daan Rousseau, 71, and his wife Erka, 70, were brutally murdered in their own home on Charon Street.

These were kind, retired people who lived quietly, attended church services regularly, and enjoyed their morning walks. They were found dead in their bedroom with their hands tied behind their backs and plastic bags wrapped over their heads. Police suspect they were strangled and suffocated. Nothing much was taken except Erka’s handbag and the couple’s cellphones.

Their eldest son Pierre had spoken to his father that morning about picking up his dog. When he arrived, no one answered. After failed attempts to reach them and concerns from Erka’s church congregation, the family called the police. The couple’s son Siegfried, who flew down from Johannesburg, stood outside their home holding back tears, asking, “Why would anyone do this to a sweet, defenseless old couple?” He said the criminals took away his parents’ basic right to live, and even an arrest wouldn’t bring real justice.

Daan and Erka had three sons; Pierre, Siegfried, and Wouter, and three grandchildren.

How many more elderly White South Africans have to be tied up, suffocated, and slaughtered in their own homes? These vulnerable pensioners did nothing to deserve this horror.

On the weekend of 21-22 April 2012, at a smallholding near Stone Cradle in Rietvlei, 40-year-old Johan “Jo” Erasmus, a dad-to-be eagerly awaiting his first child with partner Aneke Gardiner, was shot in the head and killed while bravely confronting at least five armed house robbers.

Aneke woke around 2 am to voices outside. She woke Jo. He ran downstairs and immediately encountered one robber who had already climbed through a window. The other four were trying to break open the door. Jo confronted them to protect his pregnant partner and her two young children, Aidan (5) and Mike (8), who were sleeping.

The gang demanded laptops and goods. Aneke tried to bring the laptop down when she heard shots, Jo was hit and fell. The robbers then broke in, assaulted Aneke (hitting her in the face with a gun butt, causing bruising), stole her cellphone, a flat-screen TV, the laptop, and fled. The children were brave but traumatized. They cried bitterly, tried to help their mom drag Jo to the car, fetched towels to stop the bleeding, and lifted his feet while she carried his upper body. Jo was still conscious, trying to get up and speak, but he couldn't. A neighbor called an ambulance.

At Kalafong Hospital, staff wasted time arguing about paperwork and even considered airlifting him because the hospital was "full." He died four hours later. Jo was a self-employed web designer, excited about the baby due, and planning to marry Aneke. The kids called him “Space Dad” because he knew so much about stars. No arrests were made.

This gang invasion turned a happy expecting family into a nightmare. Jo died trying to safeguard his pregnant partner and the kids, yet the ANC system fails White people daily with these savage attacks. The property owner found at least nine cartridges.

Another double murder of a couple in their own home. Jane Luck (71) and her husband Rolf Luck (77) were slaughtered on their farm at Loerie Glen in The Crags near Plettenberg Bay on 25 March 2026.

Jane was a top Clinical Psychologist who dedicated her life to helping others. She specialized in trauma counselling and bereavement, worked with children, teenagers, adults, couples, families, and groups battling addiction, depression, bipolar, and more. Her doctoral thesis focused on art therapy for trauma. She was also a fierce environmentalist, chairperson of the Redford Conservancy, and a passionate protector of nature who wasn’t afraid to speak her mind.

These monsters targeted this kind, productive couple in their home. Their stolen Mercedes-Benz led security personnel and a farm worker to discover the horrific scene. Jane and Rolf were found murdered in their house. A 34-year-old suspect from the Crags has been arrested, but the full details of the savagery and motive remain hidden as the investigation continues.

Limpopo farmer Attie Mahne (77), an esteemed and well-known cattle farmer from Baltimore, was brutally murdered on his farm in December 2025.

Attie left the house around 16:00 to check on his cattle. While he was away, the savages broke into the house, tied up his wife Pietro Mahne, and ransacked the property. When Attie returned about an hour later, the intruders overpowered him at knifepoint, tied him up, and severely assaulted him.

Pietro managed to free herself and alerted the farm watch. Her husband was found unresponsive. Emergency Medical Services declared him dead at the scene, and Pietro was hospitalized after the traumatic ordeal.

Limpopo police arrested a 28-year-old suspect a few days later while a second suspect is still on the run.

Cowards who tie up defenseless women, ambush hardworking farmers, beat and stab them to death for a few items. The ANC government’s denial, their racist policies, and their failure to protect White farmers enable this ongoing slaughter.
