@jacobinfante24 My biggest criticism is he held the ball on occasion and took bad sacks. But that may be something that due to his style we will have to accept.
Quick thoughts on the #Bears today:
1. Got the dub. This game was very important and was won in the enemies building. Much needed after last weekโs Hindenburg.
2. Kyler Gordon. I had my doubts however, I am glad I was proven wrong. I did not have him picking up the slack in the pass rush department today. Hell of a performance.
3. Caleb, overall, looked great. Some old habits kicked in here and there (holding onto the football), but he was efficient and showed how much he matters to this team. Nicely done.
4. Pulling the starting D with 12 and change to go? Regardless of a Thursday night matchup, make sure your current game is settled. Atlanta has too many horses to let up with that kind of time. No amount of convincing will make me believe that was the right call. Sometimes you got to sweep up the dust from the good idea fairy.
To the Patriots we go. #DABears.
Thanks to the early switch to the defensive twos, the pressure immediately shifts back to the offense. Hate that decision by the #Bears. Canโt wait to hear the reason behind this bonehead move.
I appreciate BJ finally waking up and thinking to himself, โWhy donโt I try getting the ball to Loveland a little bit more?โ Loveland aside, the underneath/middle of the field has been money today. Could it all be related? #DABears.
Three keys for the #Bears today.
1. Get Caleb in a groove early. Atlanta is weak defending the pass. Chicago needs to exploit that early and often.
2. Two things can be true. Chicago canโt forget about Swift. Keep him involved. Play action does wonders for Caleb.
3. London or Bijan? Who do you prioritize? The big play went Michael Myers on Chicago last week. As good as Bijan is, I would expect Atlanta to take shots early to see if they can hit one. The secondary must step up today.
Prediction: Chicago is 5-2 after a loss in the BJ era. I like them to be 6-2 at approximately 4:30 Eastern time. Bears 31-Falcons 21. Colston finally gets a score this week. #DABears.
What are some quick observations from Michigan today?
1. Carr starts going forward. He hit the open guy, was confident and the threat of his arm opened up the offense.
2. The defense is very good (DUH). Just a competent offense and the team can hum.
3. I like their chances next week. I donโt want to crown Carr as the Sorcerer Supreme, but he could change the outlook of this season. #Wolverines.
