What are some quick observations from Michigan today?
1. Carr starts going forward. He hit the open guy, was confident and the threat of his arm opened up the offense.
2. The defense is very good (DUH). Just a competent offense and the team can hum.
3. I like their chances next week. I don’t want to crown Carr as the Sorcerer Supreme, but he could change the outlook of this season. #Wolverines.

It probably goes without saying that a lot hinges on Caleb Williams playing this week. Three early keys for Sunday:
1. Spoiler alert, but CW being available is by far and away tops on the list.
2. Exploit Atlanta’s secondary. That unit is very generous to passing offenses. Big weeks for Burden, Loveland on the horizon?
3. Grady Bunch? He is the veteran of a defensive line group that needs to step up. He must set the tone and lead by example.
