My contribution to the @FineGael Ard Fheis questioning what it is to be Irish and the need for a broader more true & reflective view of that. #FGAF21
Good news: One THIRD of the adult population in Ireland has now received at least one dose of a #Covid19 vaccine.
Over 200,000 vaccines doses are now being administered each week, with this set to increase into the future.
Female members of the Oireachtas from every single party have raised this again and again. It has been clear for some weeks that local and national policy have not been aligned and that the risks once there are greatly reduced. Just fix it. https://t.co/i32wopsUV1
Recently, Sinn Féin has referred to the Provisional IRA as "Óglaigh na hÉireann".
Let's be clear: there is only one Óglaigh na hÉireann in this State — the proud men & women who serve in our defence forces.
@martinheydonfg called Sinn Féin out on this earlier today on #TWIP.
Great to meet with the new @yfg National Executive this evening and to speak to them about a range of issues affecting young people.
Best of luck with everything and I hope to engage with you further in the coming months!
I share the frustrations of the school community in @GaelscoilLaigh1 and today in the #Seanad I raised them with @josephamadigan. It’s important that Minister @NormaFoleyTD1 hears the serious concerns of parents and teachers.

At the @dlrcc Council Meeting this evening, I raised the issue of anti-social behaviour in #Dalkey witnessed over the weekend. I asked the Council to meet with the Gardaí to discuss this most serious incident and to do anything we can do to support the Gardaí @GardaTraffic
Delighted that Dlrcoco have agreed to review Cherrywood Cycling infrastructure. A lot has changed since the formation of Cherrywood SDZ in 2014. We need to exceed minimum standards and to provide segregated cycle lanes on this evolving greenfield site. (pic from @dlrcycling )
Great article by @AnneRabbitte on balancing work and family, gender and abuse in politics: 'The voice at the end of the line told me to back down or they'd come for me' (via @thejournal_ie) https://t.co/ohWSUIKAKf
We need 365 day testing and 365 day UV treatment until the bigger issues are sorted out. People need transparency and information, and system change needs better data to target the biggest problems first. #dunlaoghaire
Thank you to @cian_mccormack and @rtenews for coming to #DúnLaoghaire to talk about #litter. The reason I want a national conversation on this topic is because:
1. We perform so badly on litter in Ireland by comparison to other countries. It’s embarrassing!!
