Let’s celebrate International Women’s Day in solidarity with Iranian and Afghan women who are oppressed by religious dictatorships but still continue to fight everyday.
This video is what feminism looks like to me
BREAKING: A whistleblower says women at an ICE detention center were forced to wear diapers, denied basic sanitation, and packed onto floors “like goats in a cage.”
People lying in urine and feces.
No menstrual supplies.
Boxes filled with used diapers.
He reported it — and was fired.
This happened in Baltimore.
I wrote about Raha Bahloulipour, one of the thousands of Iranians massacred by the regime last month.
Her Letterboxd diary and online accounts allowed me to peer into her world.
I know. Big shock here, but I still wanted to put it all in one place. In my latest article, I compiled the evidence from multiple pilots focused on homeless people to show that over and over again, cash reduces homelessness and also even reduces drug use.
UBI is the way to go.
14-year-old Kurdish girl dies from injuries sustained during protests in Sonqor
Hengaw has learned that Asra Tavousi - Nia, a 14-year-old Kurdish girl from Sonqor in Kermanshah (Kermashan) Province, died on Saturday, January 24, 2026, after spending two weeks in a coma caused by severe gunshot injuries and inadequate medical treatment.
According to information received by Hengaw, Asra was critically wounded after Iranian government forces shot her with live ammunition during public protests in Sonqor on Thursday, January 8, 2026. A live round struck her in the hip, causing catastrophic internal injuries.
A source close to her family told Hengaw that Asra was a high-achieving student at Setaregan School in Kermanshah.
Sources further reported that her body was buried on Sunday, January 25, 2026, under pressure and threats from Iranian security agencies, and the family was prevented from holding a public funeral or mourning ceremony.
A woman cuts her hair at her sister’s funeral in #Iran, because the regime shot her sister in the head.
Let me be clear with Western female politicians, especially those in leadership positions in Europe: Do not cut your hair in symbolic solidarity with Iranian women. Cut your ties with our killers.
Believe me cutting your hair for Instagram solidarity, doesn’t scare dictators. It doesn’t save lives. It just makes you feel better. Stop legitimizing our terrorist regime.
Her name was Melika Dastyab.
She was 21, a musician, economics student and she was dead by security forces while her sister stood next to her.
That’s not a hashtag.
That’s a crime against humanity.
Angelina Jolie arrives at the Rafah crossing—closed by an Israeli decision—on a humanitarian visit to inspect the aid barred from entry and Al-Arish Hospital.
This little girl left her soaked tent under the rain and cold, dragging a water gallon heavier than her fragile body just to keep her family alive. A reality no major newspaper dares to publish. In this freezing cold, even getting water is a miracle.
Share these videos. Let the world see the truth as it is.We will keep posting these clips to expose what’s happening here.
This is, quite literally, the worst night we've lived through maybe in our entire lives. No one in Gaza slept tonight. Not a single family was spared. Water flooded every home and tent. People were forced to sleep standing, or stayed awake, surrounded by crumbling walls.
Seawater crept into the tents of displaced families as they slept, sweeping them away. Walls of damaged houses collapsed on those inside. The only sounds were screaming, cold, and rushing water.
I’m trying to describe what we’re going through, but words are not enough.
Please pray for us…Helplessness is overwhelming, and death feels closer than ever.
