The Whitman-Hanson Panthers defeat the Pembroke Titans 28-26 in a thrilling come from behind victory. 

The defense shut out the Titans in the second half. The front 7 of the Panthers, including Jacob Getchell, Johnny Walker, and Damian Frawley, shut down the Titans rushing attack and senior cornerback Cam Beltramini came up with a crucial interception.

On offense quarterback Ryan Nash threw two touchdown passes, one to senior Brendan Moore and the game winner with 11 seconds left to Beltramini. Billy Morgan and Brady Markowski added scores on the ground.

The Panthers looks to keep it rolling next week against Scituate.

Whitman Hanson Girls Lacrosse beats Pembroke 16-5 in non league competition for their Season opener.  Captain Ella Nagle led the way with 6 goals.  Liv Mara, Maddy Geagon and Shannon Balfe each had 2 goals.  Captain Bailey Kelly and Abby Nash each had 1 goal and 1 assist.

@JoeyMurr Ok...but his overall numbers are wrong. I don't really care just pointing out that teams +16 are not 0-18. He gives you 5 games in last 30 years they won.

@JoeyMurr His number are flawed. 95 was 24 years ago. Last year the Bills won at +16.5. So no way +16 are 0-18. Maybe his all dogs is correct but the others are wrong.
