#BonAppetitYourMajesty brought me out of my 1-year k-drama slump—and I exactly know why.

The story wasn't brand new. We've seen time-slip x sageuk dramas like this. But how they packaged everything, the pacing, and the chemistry (YES THE CHEMISTRY), all came together like a full-course meal served at the perfect time.

#LimYoonA is a different person here for me. She delivered the romance and the comedy so well. The ratings weren't just because she was in it, but because YoonA loved and put her whole heart into the drama, and everybody saw that. We've always talked about actress YoonA, and with BAYM, she'll get more of the recognition she deserves.

#LeeChaemin is a breakout star, they say. The truth is, BAYM gave him more ammunition to enter the spotlight. He has been outstanding in his past works, but starring in his first romcom sageuk with less than a month of training is proof that he has the guts and the talent as an actor—and he'll go a long way for sure.

12 eps are too short for someone like me who wants more of Yoona and Chaemin. At the same time, 12 eps seemed enough for how the pacing and the storyline went. Never regretting jumping on this drama 👩🏻‍🍳
