🚨💣 Gianni Infantino's plan to SELL stakes of the World Cup, full details:

FIFA is now planning to sell stakes in a new company called "the FIFA Forward Enterprise" that will control the World Cup and Club World Cup, to private investors.

Preliminary agreements over the terms have already been SIGNED for a deal that could be worth about €17.5 BILLION.

FIFA is working with J.P. Morgan on the deal, while investors would include Thrive Eternal, a fund launched by Joshua Kushner, whose brother Jared Kushner is the son-in-law of U.S. President Donald Trump.

Infantino would become the COMMISSIONER of the new entity upon the end of his presidency at FIFA.

He would expect to personally receive tens millions of euros in such a role.

The proposals have been met with resistance from key figures in football, who are concerned at how the global calendar would be affected.

While there is no binding agreement for the plans yet, it could mean an expanded World Cup or the tournament being held more regularly than every four years.

One figure describes this plan as a “nuclear bomb” for football.

UEFA have now published an official statement OPPOSING this project:

"This crosses a line that football's governing institutions should never cross.

UEFA takes it extremely seriously. So should every National Football Association. So should every stakeholder: leagues, clubs, players, supporters, governments and everyone who cares about the future of the game.

The soul and governance of football are not assets to trade -- especially with zero transparency as to who gains financially.

None of us are the owners of football. It is not FIFA's to sell."
