Todays game against Cochrane was a tough one for the SCHS Phoenix. After 90 minutes of intense play, the Phoenix were victorious 5-1 over the Cochrane Cobras! Next stop, finals on Friday at Monklands Field at 3:30pm. #PhoenixRISE#rvsed
We lost one of our top players in the first 5 minutes at 0-0. The rest of the girls stepped it up taking a 15-0 lead. County Central scored 2 quick tries in the last 2 minutes of the match but our girls hung on to win bronze 15-14. #PhoenixRISE@rvsed
Our rugby girls were in an 8 team Oregon draw winning their first match 19-0 against Lloyd Minster but lost their second game in a tough match vs Drayton Valley. This put them in the bronze medal match against County Central.
This morning, six students from @BCHSChargers, @Beiseker_school, @WGMurdoch & Springbank Community High School who achieved 100% on their diploma exams in January were recognized in person & on Zoom by the Board. Congrats to these students on your remarkable achievement! #RVSed
Thursday, May 25 is "CREATE" at SCHS! This fun evening will showcase student Learning and Creativity in the languages, arts, media arts, fashion, cosmetology, foods, drama, and outdoor ed.
