@SecWar Are you such a little boy in your game world that you think "live streaming a firing squad" is who we are? SHAME on you and I wholeheartedly rebuke this in the name of God and justice and honor. You have none of those three things on your side. Disgusting and atrocious.
@SenJohnCurtis Can you please do something about this atrocity? Surely even Republicans see the wrong in this. There is a way to serve out justice and this is not it.
This is completely outrageous and disgusting. This must immediately be blocked by Congress and Trump should be impeached for this. The US is now funding Putin’s war machine as he murders civilians including children. We are lost as a country.
There is no need to livestream any execution, including this one. I would expect this from terrorists and dictators, but not here in America. It would give this individual, who deserves no further notoriety, the martyrdom he seeks. How we carry out justice matters just as much as the justice itself, so I urge the Pentagon to reverse this gruesome decision.

Who still carries out public executions:
The Iranian regime
The North Korean regime
The Taliban in Afghanistan Al-Shabaab in Somalia
That is not the company we want to keep or the country we want to be.
@BillHerringIII@AP What do you mean, Bill, that I rely on welfare? You know me how? Of course, if you break the law, there should be a consequence. That doesn't mean a firing squad that is live streamed to sadistic voyeurs. So many irrational leaps in logic you make.
There is no doubt Hassan deserves to die. His crimes were demonic and unforgivable—death by firing squad is borderline too merciful. But broadcasting his execution is beneath the dignity & decency of our nation.
Americans will use violence if and when justified, but we do not rejoice in it. Kill him swiftly & silently.
Streaming his execution is not just a stain on our morality—it also gives the terrorists free propaganda that they will use to radicalize & recruit more terrorists like Hassan.
Ken Paxton plans to cut Social Security and Medicare.
He’s telling seniors to “suck it up” while he owns 15 homes and increases his net worth up to $27 million.
Ken Paxton doesn’t serve us. He serves himself.
