The free world must #StandWithIndia & #StandWithHongKong by supporting India Army's & Hong Kong protesters' back on both fronts against this #CCP fascist regime. If you agree, RT.
Today, I reported to Congress that Hong Kong is no longer autonomous from China, given facts on the ground. The United States stands with the people of Hong Kong.
China is reviving one of its favorite conspiracy theories to defend a crackdown in Hong Kong, saying — without evidence — that protesters are "extremists" working with foreign countries to try to overthrow the government https://t.co/RcH79yOlPb
I have written for @ConHome about how China is preparing to strip Hong Kong of its autonomy, doing so while we are preoccupied with the virus.
We must be prepared to provide Hong Kongese British National Overseas (BNO) passport holders with a quicker path to full UK citizenship.
You are ignoring an important fact, @PDChina, namely the fact, that the PRC is bound by its international obligations under the Sino-British Joint Declaration. The PRC is in breach of these obligations as it demolishes the "high degree of autonomy" that it accepted for Hong Kong.
China’s government has finally shown it’s true colors by wiping out their promise of “One China-Two Systems” with #HongKong through the imposition of “national security legislation” that is really an attempt to squash this bastion of liberty. https://t.co/fAFikbnLGG
HONG KONG MATTERS!
With @benedictrogers & @hk_watch we worked to mobilise 203 political leaders from 23 countries to sign a joint statement led by the former Governor of Hong Kong Lord Pattern & the former British Foreign Secretary Sir Malcolm Rifkind 1/3

#HongKong’s success isn’t a case of what the govt did correctly but how we managed despite the govt. “Fight Virus Together,” Carrie Lam claimed. But it’s been clear who she’s targeting with social distancing rules in the name of public health. https://t.co/FJf6wLI5vy
This boy was asked by the police how old he was; he told them he was 13. He’s since been identified as being part of Student Depth Media.
The issue of secondary schoolers acting as reporters is a tough one, but he did nothing provocative and kept his cool while being singled out
The democratically elected legislative council member Roy Kwong was arrested during his on-site supervision tonight. He was pushed, charged by numerous polices, hit by baton and pepper sprayed. Solid proof of excessive police violence, esp. towards people’s representation.
