@pieceofmind03 When I put this on the sun comes out. They did remarkable well under the pressure. Eddie was very defensive of it in 82 interviews and only turned against it post Dave. People forget, if it hadn’t been released there wouldn’t be a miraculous other album, we’d only have 5 to play.
@TheRealJamieKay I think Porridge was by far the best although my personal favourite is Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads. Both Dick Clement & Ian La Frenais.
@jonnyrmitch@stevecherries 90% with you but would still put The White Album above Beggars Banquet and Abbey Road above Let It Bleed, but yes The Stones came into their own as The Beatles called it a day. Interestingly Let It Bleed knocked Abbey Rd off no.1 on release, AR then knocked LIB off the week after
