HP💬: (Reflections on the past year): "We are so happy for the new owners, the structure and all that has happened since the takeover.
"We are working hard every day for this football club to fulfil its potential and be the best version every day.
"We have amazing potential here."
HP💬: "We will grow and make better performances. The continuity has to be better and we want to show a reaction.
"It will be tough, it will be intense, we have to be strong tomorrow but there is a hunger in the group and we are looking forward.."
HP 💬: "Let's see tomorrow with Liam Cooper, we take it step by step with him but he has been very strong.
"Ernie is now more and more match fit and he can be in the squad and has chance for more game-time."
HP💬: "Lumley is still not training, Swinkels has trained the whole week, Santos has started training but will take time still. Jordie is training with full power.."
HP💬: With Dish we hope and believe he can train next week again. The news is positive.
"There was concern in the whole squad, he was back and playing well so it was a sad moment.
"But we are happy there is nothing bad and we expect him on the pitch next week."

Club statement: 21 October, 2026
Sheffield Wednesday is aware of racist abuse directed towards the family of one of our players on social media following last night’s fixture.
We stand unequivocally with our player and his family, who have the club’s complete support.
Racism is abhorrent. It has no place in football or in society, and we condemn this abuse in the strongest possible terms.
The comments have been reported to the relevant authorities, with whom we will work to ensure those responsible are identified and held accountable.
This is not the first incident of its kind involving our players, staff and their families this season. The continued targeting of individuals and their loved ones is utterly unacceptable.
Only last weekend, we stood alongside the EFL in supporting its Together Against Racism campaign. Incidents such as this reinforce why collective action and meaningful consequences remain so important.
There can be no tolerance, no excuses and no ambiguity when it comes to racism or discrimination of any kind.
Sheffield Wednesday will continue to stand with those affected and take the strongest possible action against anyone responsible for such abuse.
