@RivianTrackr@RJScaringe@Rivian This news came just after the folks on the East coast are dealing with a very poor air quality due to the wild fires... I used to trust my old tesla to filter out most of the bad stuff. My Rivian cab definitely fits a medical grade HEPA filter. I will look into that.

Our R2 battery pack is made up of three large modules that have 256 cells each for a total of 768 cells per pack. The pack is a structural part of the body and the top of the pack is also a portion of the floor of the vehicle. I love how this type of part consolidation demonstrates how our teams work closely together. :)
@RivianUpdates Isn't it fantastic that the highly modified offroaders are not practical to be used as a daily driver while Rivian can do it all without compromising?

Glad I have my R1 to play while I wait for my R2! Or else I would be dying now!
Our R2 drive unit (Maximus) uses continuous winding in the stator to reduce the total welds per stator assembly from 264 on Enduro to 24!
I am so excited for all the cost savings coming on R2!!
