@kcjohnson9 Duke President Broadhead was the most disgraceful character in this story- and he had lots of competition (the 88 faculty memberetter signers?). Thank you, KC for Durham in Wonderland. I hope the wrongfully accused received multi- million settlements.
“A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking, because its trust is not on the branch but on its own wings. Always believe in yourself.”
@TomBrady on the importance of believing in yourself when no one else does
Reposting my prayer for a free Iran, which I shared a few weeks ago.
Now war has begun. I don’t know how this will play out. Or how it will end.
Even so, I still pray for a free Iran — and for the Persian people to retake their rightful place under the sun. #FreeIran 💚🤍❤️
The theft of Napoleonic treasures in the Louvre followed a change in the display cases in 2019. Before then, the Rococo display cases had armored glass and if disturbed the treasures would drop into a safe. They were later replaced by “modern” displays with normal glass.
🇨🇳 CHINA BROKE THE SKY WITH 11,787 DRONES
Chongqing, China just pulled off the wildest drone light show the world has ever seen.
A jaw-dropping 11,787 drones lit up the night sky, setting a new Guinness World Record.
The drones moved together to create glowing shapes like a giant running kid and swirling clouds above tall buildings.
It looked more like a Pixar dream than something real.
Fireworks could never.

@_TruthZone_ Yep when the street lights came on we went home. Drank water from the garden hose, ate apples off trees in the neighborhood. Played tag and football in the street. Went tubing on the river, partied in corn fields. We always found something to do. The good ol days I miss them.
