Got this in the mail! A glass award from NCWIT (National Center for Women in Technology) recognizing me for increasing the numbers of female and minority students taking Computer Science at EHS. CS is for everyone!! 🧡🖤@Kel_Grigsby@ALepeRamirez
This year we doubled the number of students who took the AP CSP exam at EHS! Amazing given the crazy situation and the fact that students had to do a big project during SIP. But I am even more proud of the fact that this year 4 times as many girls took and passed the exam!!
I just finished my first week as an AP reader for Computer Science Principles!!! I was nervous, but it was an incredibly valuable and rewarding experience! I can’t wait to share my insight and experience with my kiddos this year.
@mrsescocoach@SDSU@Padres So cool Brit! Interesting fact: my Dad was his mailman for like 20 years and got to know him pretty well (cuz my Dad was a talker lol!). He always said he was the just the nicest, most humble guy. 😊

I am so incredibly proud of these 3 amazing young ladies! EHS’s Team Sassy Sloths won 3rd place at CSUSM’s CodeQueens Showcase today with a game they designed and developed themselves about distracted driving. #sdcodequeens#WeAreEscondido@Kel_Grigsby@ALepeRamirez
