We’re living today in the past of people whose future will one day be their present. They’ll either thank or curse us for the path we paved for them. Let’s give our best to Rwanda, for the Rwandans we may never know, but who deserve the best simply because they are Rwandans.🇷🇼
The Ministry of Youth and Arts, in collaboration with @RwandaTrade, and @RDBrwanda, held a consultative session for media houses and broadcasters on the operationalisation of Rwanda’s Collective Management Organisation (CMO).
The session introduced the new Ministerial Order No 001/MOYA/2026 and discussed its implications for media houses and broadcasters, including the licensing, royalty collection and distribution process.
These exchanges highlighted the media's role in championing copyright protection, responsible use and fair remuneration for creatives’ works.
You know the funniest thing about Rwanda haters who are Rwandans (Nabyumva ari abandi)? They seem to want NOTHING good to happen to Rwanda. And honestly, that is what makes their fight so weak.
You can have legitimate differences with the leadership of a country. Challenge the policies. Point out what isn’t working. Tell voters what you would do differently and the solutions you would bring to address those challenges. That is a perfectly legitimate political position.
But when you look at everything good happening in Rwanda and your only response is, “Rwanda is still a poor country, so Rwanda can’t host F1” … Nyef Nyef Find some substance! 🤦🏽♀️
If your argument is simply to dismiss every achievement because you oppose the leadership, you’re not really making a strong case for anything. Bring substance. Challenge the policies. Present alternatives. But this constant need to downplay anything positive about Rwanda? VERY weak. 🙄

Respectfully, opposition to a government does not have to mean losing one’s love for the country 😔
Ariko uwakwibariza (in the spirit of constructive dialogue): Are there any ideas in your manifesto that are also reflected in what the RPF is doing today? If so, which ones? And if not, could you share two key proposals in your manifesto that you believe offer a different approach from the RPF’s current policies? Urakoze🙏
@NewTimesRwanda These are not bad stats tbh unfortunately around the world older learners are being incentivised to go seek out some money (the global economy is chaotic rn) so a 98+% return rate is not bad but I do hope they all return.

@iRusagara Jeshini hakuna “reremama/bajeyi”. When security or discipline is at stake, action follows.
If it’s true that RDF has restricted soldiers from WhatsApp groups, it certainly wouldn’t be the first. India and Switzerland have taken similar measures for security reasons, merci!
Happening now: Representatives from stakeholder institutions are gathered for a two-day workshop to review and validate the detailed designs of infrastructure under the @GreenNgaruyinka Project.
The workshop was officiated by @CityofKigali's Vice Mayor Mr. Fulgence Dusabimana.
President Kagame received President @WadagniRomuald of Benin and his delegation at the Urugwiro Village. The two Heads of State are now holding a tête-à-tête meeting marking the start of the two day Official Visit to Rwanda.

Do not be afraid to sow without immediately seeing the fruits. The sowing belongs to you; the growth belongs to God. No gesture carried out in the name of Christ is useless.
This morning at the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) offices, President Kagame joined a meeting of the RDB Board of Directors. The meeting reviewed RDB’s priorities and ongoing efforts to accelerate private sector-led growth, attract and facilitate investment, promote exports and tourism, and strengthen Rwanda’s competitiveness.
The President emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong focus on delivery, accountability and continuously improving the environment for businesses and investors to thrive.
