@martinellerby@FBE_MCR@HTS_London Fantastic news! We’re looking forward to it and great to be supporting. Hats off to @gedcouser and all at @FBE_MCR for getting such a fantastic group of contributors together…! Impressive!
The final instalment in our sustainability talk series took place yesterday evening, with a focus on achieving Manchester’s zero carbon goals.
Thank you to Samantha Nicholson, James Hind and Ian Simpson for a lively and informative discussion on Manchester’s low-carbon vision.
Great to be involved in this event, and really interesting discussion. @emma_ymp gave a spine tingling reminder of our legacy as an industry. Loads we can do as a collective if we all play our part; build wise, build low carbon, build for the future, and build collaboratively..!
We are blown away by the debate we’ve heard today and honoured to have assembled such an inspirational group of thinkers.
Thanks to everyone who came, to our speakers, to our committee who made it happen, and to @TLT_LLP for supporting.

David and I worked on a number of #LowCarbon re-use/refurbishment projects across the #NW and I’ve enjoyed his chairing of @HTS_London#sustainability talks here in #MCR - great to have you on board @dm_hts For more event info use link in post below 👇
Thanks @FBE_MCR What a great session we had last night… We certainly enjoyed it! Thanks again for joining us. It’s been a privilege to discuss these important topics with such a fantastic and engaged group!
It’s recycle ♻️ re-use night with the team @HTS_London and their #Manchester team. Sustainability drinks 3 of 4 this is a great initiative from them blending talks/discussion/drinks…what’s not to like 👍 Chaired once again by @dm_hts 👏👏
The second in our sustainability talks series, Designing in Timber, will focus on the benefits + challenges to building in timber.
Speakers include HTS’s Director Andy Heyne, Stephen Hodder, Chairman @hodderpartners, Andrew King, Constructional Timber + specialist fire engineers
Great to have you along Phil and thanks for your insight. You’re bang on on the insurance front, but the change will come… @AndyHeyne_HTS doodles the past present and future of mass timber buildings #COP26#Sustainability#timber
@HTS_London in Manchester sustainable engineering seminars….some easy old school graphics on the use of timber structures. Need an answer to Insurance scepticism if we are to hit #sustainable#lowcarbon targets
