Not every effort needs a spotlight. Some of the most meaningful work happens quietly, in hospital rooms, refugee camps, and unseen acts of care.
Visibility can empower, yes. But true change doesn’t always need a camera.
Sometimes, the loudest impact is made in silence!!!!
On #InternationalHumanRightsDay, we must ask: What legacy are we leaving for our children? When powerful nations abuse human rights, they normalize injustice for future generations. Let’s act now to protect their future. #HumanRights#AccountabilityForAll
Testimony of a Rohingya Man Who Lost Five Children in a Boat Sinking on August 6, 2024
He lost his five children, and his sister lost four of hers.
The last words he heard from one of his children were, “Oh Baa, save me, I am drowning.”

An Appeal to Bangladesh Border Authorities
According to my sources, last night (August 5, 2024), the Bangladesh border authorities detained at least 300 Rohingya who had fled to Bangladesh. Some injured individuals were sent to the hospital, thanks to the authorities. The border authorities are now preparing to send back all the remaining detainees to the Myanmar side, where the Arakan Army (AA) has been desperately targeting the Rohingya, and it is a killing field, worse than in 2017.
We appeal to the Bangladesh border authorities to refrain from sending them back.
The detainees were detained in Teknaf, Lombon, and Fojaton Ghat.
“I'm an American doctor who went to Gaza. I saw annihilation, not war. “On one occasion, a handful of children, all about ages 5 to 8, were carried to the emergency room by their parents. All had single sniper shots to the head.”

@rsomedia The ongoing silent genocide in Arakan demands immediate attention. How can we expect contemplation of a repatriation process amidst such circumstances? In short, urgent action is needed. Do the best!🙏
Refugees are not migrants. Migrants are not refugees. All have rights that must be respected, but we should not conflate the two.
Refugees have the right to seek asylum and to international protection from persecution and violence.
The ICC appears to have given no priority to the Rohingya case compared to the Ukrainian case.
Moreover, in this piece, authors Prof. CR Abrar & Reza Lenin have shed light on the situation in the camps in Bangladesh.
