@TheStanchion Keep it local and promote BC culture for sure. Another angle to be supporting and connecting with the community.
Should profile BC artists throughout the year.
For my two cents, needs to be a bop and catchy, so a cut of Doug and the Slugs, "Too Bad"
@ThomasDrance@kaitalkscanucks This whole argument is an exhibit of why you need multiple picks to attempt to pick a as many players as possible who can contribute to a rebuild. Instead of Benson vs Willander wouldn't it to be great that Canucks have both?
@mattsekeres This likely depends on what happens on the right side. Myers could still ultimately pair w/ Soucy or Cole to deal w/ opposing top lines. Hughes gets the other new FA, leaving Hronek w/o a partner. At that point, Brisebois or Wolanin are likely the options to balance the size.
@ThomasDrance@SatiarShah And upside in a pinch to slide to the 2C slot in the event of injuries, because those never happen... Or flexing Miller back to wing if necessary when chasing games.
@Hockey2L I believe in taking high potential swings at the draft and I'm not a fan of a Danielson pick with who else is likely available. I think we should remember that the book on Horvat was capping out as a sure thing NHLer, but capped as 3C.
@DhaliwalSports@DonnieandDhali Hey Rick, in discussions with your sources, is there anyone who views Wood as a centre long-term? He played centre until this year, and it's not uncommon for a younger forward to be sheltered as a winger taking a step up to a new level (Ala Petey), but long term still be a centre
I'm told the Vancouver Canucks are seeking an "effective" NHL player in return for Connor Garland.
Don't seem to be all that interested in draft picks.

@benkuzma Unfortunately, this most likely results in the Bo Horvat career path with the Canucks... Couple of playoff rounds when you catch lightning in a bottle, but a complete lack of sustainable success.
Given the news about unidentified objects being shot down in the North, ICYMI: last April, leader @CurrieDixon penned an op-ed in the @OttawaCitizen about investments in Arctic Sovereignty, including upgrades to the North Warning System. https://t.co/ISWqZzLb6w
