With a masters degree I will cap at just under $100,000, but that’s after I take more hours to move over on the pay scale. As for sumemrs off, I’m sure she doesn’t something

@emilykmay And I don’t know about there, but while I do get a paycheck 12 months a year, I’m only being paid for the 190 days I’ve worked. That’s why most teachers I know have a second job or pick up work in the summer on top of whatever ever they are doing to prepare for the upcoming year.

@Phillygirl741 @emilykmay Teachers often go to conferences, workshops, and take their own classes in the summer. They also spend a lot of their summers planning for the upcoming year. So not quite having the summers off
