Elon, I respect your work but this take needs a reality check.

People aren’t flocking to the West because it’s flawless. They're running from disasters the West helped create.

Let’s talk facts:

🇮🇶 Iraq – Invaded over fake WMDs. Over 1M dead, entire region destabilized.

🇦🇫 Afghanistan – 20 years of war, trillions wasted. Thousands of civilians killed. Taliban ended up back in power.

🇱🇾 Libya – NATO bombed it into chaos. A stable state turned into a failed one with literal slave markets now.

🇸🇾 Syria – The US armed “moderate rebels,” many turned out to be extremists. Civil war escalated, millions displaced.

🇾🇪 Yemen – US funded and armed Saudi Arabia’s war. Result: famine, civilian bombings, and a humanitarian crisis.

And let’s not ignore the receipts on terrorist funding.

The US has directly or indirectly funded regimes and groups later labeled as terrorists:

– The Mujahideen in Afghanistan (which morphed into the Taliban)

– Billions to states with records of funding extremism, all for “strategic alliances”

– Funding Terrorists In Pakistan

Even in Latin America, Africa, Southeast Asia the list of CIA-backed coups and militia training is long.

So no it’s not just people “blaming the West.”

It’s the consequences of Western foreign policy showing up on its own doorstep.

You can’t break a house, then act shocked when the people inside run for shelter.
