The fact is that MOST people paying taxes, do not:

- Send their kids to government schools.
- Avail treatment at public hospitals
- Once they have paid tax, they still pay more taxes on GST, petrol, toll, parking and for buying cars.

In Nordic countries, the tax might be 50%-- but with free healthcare, education and other facilities, the taxpaying public actually avails it.

As a common citizen: grow sense and stop supporting wastage 1000s of crores on monument and grand structures.

It does you no good.

It simply crushes a handful of taxpayers EVERN MORE, who get limited benefits to begin with.
