Minister of Health Assesses Juba Teaching Hospital!

The Minister of Health, Hon. Sarah Cleto Rial (@sarahrial), visited Juba Teaching Hospital yesterday, July 10, 2025, to evaluate its operations.

Accompanied by MoH officials, she inspected the hospital's infrastructure, equipment, and cleanliness to ensure it meets the health needs of Juba and beyond.

Minister @sarahrial emphasized that health is a fundamental pillar of peace and prosperity. She highlighted the need for accessible, quality health services, focusing on:

* Maternal and child health
* Midwifery training
* Strengthening the healthcare workforce

The Minister also stressed the importance of a clean hospital environment and called for increased government budget allocations for health services.

Juba Teaching Hospital is the country's sole referral facility, funded by the central government and supported by partners like Real Medicine Foundation, Medical Mission International, UN agencies, and various NGOs.
