@JasonLukeViews@IntCyberDigest They didn't say "install" they said "use". The APK uses the Google integrity API to block actions, or as straight up not run. I'm laughing at me for reading your comment.
@darthminos It technically requires authorization, it's just that during pulls an implicit anonymous token is generated first. It's this token that is having problems, causing the subsequent 401's and 421 rate limiting. But yeah it's jacked up right now.
‼️🚨 BREAKING: Sony PlayStation's age-verification partner Yoti is reporting GrapheneOS users to authorities for using GrapheneOS, due to "past security concerns."
Dear Microsoft, when I hit the Windows Start menu key and start typing a word to autocomplete a search, I never, ever, EVER want it to return results of something not on my computer. Ever. Like, ever, ever, never.
@Zarish5062@OrevaZSN Disabling web search in settings is not straightforward to do completely. You'll still get "recommended" results, windows store results, etc, it's a mess. Only after countless registry adjustments do you get anything close to a clean local only search.
Good, now stop alienating GrapheneOS users by forcing Google-only versions of Android via the misguided Google play attention restriction. Doing this breaks not just the X app, but also the Grok app or anything that relys on X as an OAuth provider. Stop punishing paying users for using a more secure version of Android. @nikitabier
i’m 36 and i’ve gone through:
dial up internet
going to officemax to buy software in a box
arguing with family over the phone line
having my own labeled floppy disk
napster / limewire / bearshare
adobe licenses that weren’t timebound
microsoft encarta
using the first mouse with a click wheel
bondi blue imac
microsoft xp
space cadet pinball
ask jeeves
printing directions off mapquest
google’s “i’m feeling lucky” button
internet cafes
myspace autoplay songs
the ipod
tumblr music blogs
the golden age of torrents
hackintoshes
and somehow i feel like the searchability and value of the internet is worse than
ever :( we’re losing texts and accepting that everything needs to be found through a paid algorithm. i don’t feel good about this.
@brave@cloudfront Why do I need to activate a VPN, when I'm using a regular residential ISP in the USA, just visit the https://t.co/aXh1FC8iDj site and download the browser?
Congress forced telecoms to build surveillance backdoors in 1994.
Chinese hackers found them.
The government's response is to ban your router.

We strongly oppose the Unified Attestation initiative and call for app developers supporting privacy, security and freedom on mobile to avoid it. Companies selling phones should not be deciding which operating systems people are allowed to use for apps.

Never leave your loved one alone in the hospital. Every hour you are allowed to be there, if you are able to, I highly recommend being there.
Be perfectly cordial with staff. But watch over everything like a hawk.
Trust me on this.
