Bailey Siber helped OKC stand up its first i-team, tackle homelessness, and build ethical AI practices. Now she's Mayor @davidfholt's Chief of Staff. A great example of what the Bloomberg Harvard City Hall Fellowship makes possible. @CenterforCities
Meet Bailey Siber, a Bloomberg Harvard City Hall Fellow in @cityofokc.
During her Fellowship, she helped launch the City’s first innovation team, advanced initiatives to reduce homelessness, and improved data governance—helping to upskill frontline staff on ethical AI use. Now, she’s taking her impact even further, stepping into the role of Chief of Staff for Mayor @davidfholt.
Here’s to Bailey and the many City Hall Fellows working with the Bloomberg @CenterforCities to bring @BHcityleaders' tools, practices, and platforms to drive progress in municipalities across the country.
The em dash seems ruined for me forever.
I used to use it all the time. Then ChatGPT started doing the same — and now nobody believes any phrasing that uses it is my own, even when it is.
It still works — but it ain’t worth the doubt it casts.

Cross-sector collaboration isn’t doomed by failure—it’s defined by what happens next. New research shows city partnerships succeed not by avoiding setbacks, but by learning from them. 5 actions can shift blame toward progress.

“A typical city chasing federal dollars faces a daunting job. Applicants first need to choose from a stack of more than 400 grants. They must develop project plans, assemble data, and develop financing strategies.”
