@bruce_arthur@ekoreen Yeah, I'm not sure either but Fred seems like a great fit age wise and skill wise (off ball player, elite shooter) for Zion and Ingram.
@marcusdavis904@HPbasketball If Danny Green shoots 35 per cent they still lose lol
The bucks bad shooting was more of an anomaly than the raptors good shooting
@LastFirstism @HPbasketball Ya fair enough. And I know you hate that I'm saying it, but I think losing Brogdan is scary for this reason. I trust him on offense alot more than Bledsoe or Hill.
Anyway, good chatting with you
@LastFirstism @HPbasketball Yes, Fred Van Vleet shot the ball great in 3 straight games but you have to look at the aggregate statistics for the series. Its weird to me that Matt ignores the fact that the Raptors had a high volume 45% 3 point shooter who basically who went 4/23 for the series (in Green).
@LastFirstism @HPbasketball Sure, but its not that extreme. Even if the Raptors were 2% over Expected 3%, that's not some crazy result. Shooting bad in the previous series was also an outlier/extreme event (Arguably more so given their shooting talent). Overall, it balanced out because that's how it works
@BlakeMurphyODC @blacktopher Yeah that makes sense. Ultimately, the risk for the Raptors is he demands a 3+1 (or gets an offersheet for it) next offseason if he truly blows up. Here you get the 4 years guaranteed in the bank with no drama.
