@networkrail Your lack of lineside vegetation management is an utter disgrace. Mature trees and God knows what growing in brickwork, walls and bridges. Managed decline.
Actually, although I can't put my finger on it, I find it somehow intrusive to hear this from you because I remember that day and the days that followed in South Wales. My late father, a policeman dug for two days solid rescuing the living and recovering the dead children.
It is probably true to say that we were a somewhat insular community, and I'm not sure how much you would be able to identify with it or understand the feelings we had and continue to have. I thought about it the other day and I cried, but somehow I don't think you would've been doing that.
I don't think you understand any of it either on the human level or the political level because everyone knows that political corruption in the labour party led to the disaster itself, then they covered it up and that is why there were no prosecutions. These were people who spouted the same bullshit and rhetoric that we hear from you and who eventually managed to discredit socialism so much that it was completely thrown out of Wales in the last local and council elections.
Good manners dictate that I must thank you for your apparent concern, but I wonder whether I am the only one who feels uneasy about it?
@WGTransport@markjhooper But people are driving faster when the speed pick up to make up time from the 20mph and thus deaths have gone up. That said, I like 20mph because it’s easier to text whilst driving
@RinseHold@dylanthomas91 6 days Wales would last, on the reserve. Military? Forget it. Access to NHS hospitals in England? Forget it. Live in Wales and work in public services? Forget it. Businesses would quickly relocate to England.
