@urbanchamp @JoeSmithNHL I agree Jiricek needs someone responsible. But if you pant him with Brodin, you’re either putting your worst defenseman on the ice for 24 minutes or your 2nd best defenseman for less than 15. Would be coaching malpractice to do either.

@Cozzymodo I think for MN, it is less about what you get in return for the offer sheet than it is about the money you are tying in up in a player the GM isn't convinced is the long term solution.

@Cozzymodo Right around $7.5M Is where I think the conversation gets interesting. then it truly comes down to term. I don't think MN is bridging Rossi for $7.5M, but over 8 years? that is a controllable/tradeable asset.
