The State Of The Economy: A Misérable Summation
Working 7 days a week just to afford to live. But can't save because there's no money left.
Working 2 jobs and going to school with a child in debt on government assistance.
Working 1 job with no car, the bus runs at 9am but you need to be at work by 7am.
Working 40 hours a week, but rent takes half your paycheck, and groceries keep climbing.
Working overtime to cover medical bills, but insurance won’t pay for your kid’s medication.
Working retail with no benefits, praying you don’t get sick because you can’t miss a shift.
Working nights at a warehouse, but childcare costs more than you earn in a week.
Working a gig job with no stability, gas prices eating up every dollar you make.
Working full-time, but still couch-surfing because you can’t afford a deposit for an apartment.
Working construction, but one injury away from losing everything with no safety net.
Working as a teacher, but buying classroom supplies out of pocket leaves you broke. For the love of the kids.
Working double shifts at a diner, but tips barely cover the electric bill. And you wonder is it better to strip.
Working in fast food, but unpredictable schedules make it impossible to plan a second job. So you settle and tolerate it.
Working from home, but internet and utility costs eat up what’s left after taxes. Thinking about is this sustainable.
Working as a caregiver, but low wages force you to choose between food and prescriptions.
Working seasonal jobs, but gaps between gigs leave you borrowing to survive.
Working in a factory, but layoffs loom every time the economy dips. So you stuck in limbo.
Working as a freelancer, but clients delay payments, and you can’t pay rent on time.
“America is taxing its own people on Canadian goods!
“We need to respond in-kind by taxing Canadians! We must drive up inflation and hurt our quality of life even more! That’ll show ’em!”

ICE COLD FACT: EVERY person on Earth 🌍 is dealing with some level of Stress.. Every single person. Some more than others. But the illusion that someone is stress free… is just that. An illusion. 💎 Stay strong. This LIFE thing is not easy for Anybody.
Something we ALL need to think logically and very seriously about
Some of you aren't going like what I have to say here - Please leave your thoughts in the comments.
I agree with many of David's points (outlined below). In my opinion, voting for anyone else other than @PierrePoilievre at this point would be the literal definition of cutting your nose off to spite your face, and not voting at all 'to make a FU point' is just out and out retarded in my opinion. Sorry, but I can't even comprehend how any sane minded Canadian who knows what's at stake right now would intentionally do that.
Sadly, despite what some of you believe, Maxime Bernier cannot and will not be able to follow through on his promises to be the savior of Canada that you're hoping/looking for. It's a fact I'm afraid that at this point in time he will NEVER win a seat, let alone a federal election, period. It's also important to note that campaign promises are easily made when you know full well that you'll never have to follow through on them for your constituents. I mean this is no way to come off as an attack or to be disrespectful to Max, it is simply the cold hard truth. And if he was brutally honest with his supporters for a minute, he would admit that he too knows this to be true.
As with what recently transpired in the US with the historic and unprecedented re-election of President Trump, resulting in America now being brought back from the brink of total destruction and financial ruin, Canada too is on the verge of falling victim to premeditated decimation and economic collapse by totalitarian globalist charlatans and criminals, and is fast approaching the point of no return. Like the US, the next election in Canada will be the most important one of our lives, and in recent history in fact. It is important that we ALL work together to ensure freedom, normalcy and prosperity for current and future generations by voting accordingly to oust the vile & corrupt socialist authoritarian NDP/Liberal coalition.
Take a read below, and please think long and hard about how your actions in the voting booth will affect the future of Canada, let's not let our emotions, differences of opinion or stubbornness sentence Canada to another 5 years of woke left wing globalist hell that we will never be able to emerge from.
*Sharing points to consider below from, David Cheyne over at AWAKE Canada.
"We can vote for Pierre Poilievre and win with a majority if we can get people to wake up to the fact there is a concerted effort to suppress a conservative majority.
The Conservatives are currently the only government that can challenge this dictatorship being built by @JustinTrudeau and his globalist overlords & puppet masters.
Poilievre has adopted the people's will as his campaign.
Here are just a few of his campaign promises.
Listen to him. He is NOT a globalist.
1. KILL CARBON TAX
2. BUILD PIPELINES AND PUT CANADA ENERGY FIRST
3. REPEAL ALL ANTI FREE SPEECH BILLS
4. DEFUND MEDIA
5. REDUCE PERSONAL INCOME TAXES.
6. REDUCE FOREIGN AID
7. BAN CENTRAL BANKING DIGITAL CURRENCY
8. REDUCE SIZE OF GOVERNMENT
9. REDUCE BUREACRACY ON BUILDING OF HOMES
10. REDUCE IMMIGRATION TO SUSTAINABLE LEVELS IN LINE WITH THE BUILDING OF NEW HOMES.
11. PERMANENTLY BAN VACCINE AND MASK MANDATES
12. STOP THE PRINTING PRESS DEVALUING OUR DOLLAR
13. KILL WOKEISM
14. KICK MEN OUT OF WOMEN SPORTS
15. STRENGTHEN OUR BORDERS
16. BUILD UP OUR MILITARY
These are just a few. But if you follow him, you can hear his plans for Canada from his own mouth. They are excellent. Stop worrying about what he won't do and realize what he will do is a massive correction from the damage this coalition has done to Canada.
Now let's talk about cabinet members like @LeslynLewis, who got 200,000 signatures to pull out of WHO.
There is a game being played on us to suppress the conservative vote and to try and stop a majority government.
All the people that don't like what's happened here need to unite on this one issue to ensure that Pierre and the @CPC_HQ win a Majority.
This isn't about getting the perfect person in. It's about stopping the bleeding out of our country.
If Poilievre is in fact a globalist, we do not lose anything by doing this. With Trudeau in power it remains this way and will get a whole lot worse anyways.
Anyone not voting for the guy who promises to fix just about everything that Trudeau has destroyed are sadly part of the problem, instead of the solution.
Block people telling you not to vote either way, they are knowingly or unwittingly Liberal propagandists.
It's called hedging your bets and exhausting all your options to save this Country.
Let's take action. Give Pierre the chance, but most importantly, let's end this destructive Liberal/NDP coalition."
I'm a Canadian living in the U.S.A. for the last 5 years. There is one thing Canadian leadership and the general population better get through their thick skulls...
Americans don't care about Canadians feelings. You boo the anthem and Americans laugh. You take Tito's vodka off the the shelf of the LCBO and Americans laugh. You post that you canceled your vacation to Disneyland and Americans laugh.
Canadians, for the most part, are irrelevant to Americans, economically, geo-politically and militarily. The majority of Americans think Canadians are leftist, socialist, anti-liberty loons and don't care a lick what Canada does or Canadian thinks. Sadly they are not wrong
That being said, if Canada thinks they have any leverage at all they are fooling themselves. The Canadian economy is minuscule compared to the U.S. economy. Canada has a GDP of 2.14 Trillion dollars. The US GDP is 27.36 billion.
Even worse Canadian GDP per capita is 65% of that of the United States. That means that the average Canadian worker is producing 35% less than the average American worker. Yet the Canadian PM thinks tariffing Heinz Ketchup or convincing them to buy French's instead is going to have an impact. It would be comical if it wasn't so tragic.
Watching Liberals now drape themselves in the flag after demonizing and persecuting truckers and their supporters who only wanted a taste of the liberty so many Americans take for granted is infuriating.
As someone now on the outside instead of inside I would implore Canadians to act quickly and judiciously. Token actions will not work. Real fundamental change needs to come to Canada if it ever hopes to restore it's image in the world.
I hope and pray that happens. I fear it is an impossible task.
Wondering where all the “Canada first” people were when we shut down small local businesses for almost two years while you supported Walmart and Amazon?
I refuse to politicize the act of shopping. I'll continue to buy what I perceive to be the best value for my family. All of this is stupid and self-defeating and you can't make me care.
