Darko reflecting on Collin Murray-Boyles’ rookie season:

“When you have a rookie, you’re always thinking about what’s going to be his plan, and how much he’s going to play in the G League, with our 905 program. In September, it was clear that he’s not going to see a lot of minutes playing with the 905.”

“A lot of intangibles gave us confidence from day 1 that he’s going to be an important player in the rotation. His development over the course of the season was outstanding.”

“Getting to know him as a person was really important for me. We played a game in Utah. As you guys know, he went to prep school in Utah. His whole school came over there to see our game, and they had a surprise for him after the game. I had a chance to talk to his coach, and to some of the teachers from the school, just getting to understand who he is as a person, and what he’s about. It made me fall in love with this guy.”
