I don’t agree with that, but the state botched this big time imo, & may have given her a good case for commutation.

I’m not defending it, I’m just saying what I think is likely.

I followed the trial at the time & it was obvious that both Depp & Heard were toxic, but he was clearly the abuser. Text from one of his assistants straight up says “when I told him he kicked you he cried,” claiming he told Depp after he was sober.
