@KarenJan Nooo. Again I’ve seen this. A school doesn’t have an at specialist but oh it’s technology give it to IT. This can do more harm then good as students won’t get needed AT and fall behind or need additional support from teachers and para’s. #atchat

A6. I mean I go back and forth on this. I think for me showing you have some AT experience is important and how that’s done isn’t standard. I know for me I don’t have a degree but got my Resna atp to show a competency. #atchat

A5. I think updating the at laws for idea and the tech act is important but the most important thing that can be added to any law is funding sources. Local schools often forgo AT due to cost. Particularly rural areas I’ve worked in #atchat
