@nxcare Standing at Finchley Road stop with a ticket for the 10:32 A31, the driver of the coach refused to stop, waiving me towards the A2 coach. There was room for both to stop
Given the disparity of arrival times between the two coaches at Luton airport, this is unacceptable
@IrishRail Good morning - with the second morning of power outage at Malahide station, and having been asked by Irish Rail staff to walk through the non-functioning turnstiles, what is being done to the "Max Fare Applied" for all passengers exiting in the city centre, and vv?
@AerLingus hey people, youβve only one check in desk open at AMS Schiphol, which also serves as a bag drop for people already checked in. What on earth is going on? People are queueing down the hall.
I called Aer Lingus helpline in Netherlands, and after holding for 10 minutes I was told to go to the desk at the airport. I explained there was only one desk open. He said βI canβt help with thatβ. I asked him to confirm this was Aer Lingus and he hung up. Incredibly rude.
@IrishRail So to confirm - new timetable means no Dart from Malahide between 07:04 and 07:44.
40 mins gap during peak commute time.
The Dart you are removing was incredibly busy.
@IrishRail Hi - no sign of the new Dart timetable PDF on your website (only the old one).
Can you tell me where the new Dart/Commuter PDF timetable is published, now that it's in force for the train services?

Fixed it.
@IrishTimesOpEd Writer saying the quiet part out loud about 92% of Irish state schools:
"While their salary is paid for by the State, they teach on Church-owned property and are hired by the board of management on behalf of the Catholic patron to teach the full curriculum."
Divestment needed.
Very disappointing. I donβt understand why the referendum wasnβt simply a deletion of the sexist and archaic provision about women having βduties in the homeβ.
Government must shoulder blame for a confusing and poorly-run campaign.

@RTELateLateShow Brokenhearted. The world is a cruel place, but is made better by children like SaoΓrse. Look at her bravery.
So sad, her poor parents.
RIP the absolute dote.
Given itβs a competition raid to determine evidence of cartel activity, very easy to figure out which companies are involved. Particularly city-centre one.

@IrishRail Thanks.
I did see a quote from your Corporate Communications Manager Barry Kenny (Irish Times, August 2023) that "the advertising campaign was to last for 12 months, and that the stickers will be removed in January 2024." so you might ask him.

@reginalddhunter@YouTube Nice one Reg, great extract. I admire Curtis and his progressive nature, and his films really are brilliant pieces of work.
Someone mentioned Wilde's quote this week: "consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative". I think Curtis follows that critique.
Michael OβLearyβs Randian argument can be distilled as βI want to make more money, but rules, regulations and the climate emergency keep preventing me making more money, so anyone who blocks me is an idiotβ.
