Last night, IAFF Local 22 firefighters and paramedics once again answered the call, rescuing 2 young children trapped inside a burning West Philadelphia rowhome. Because of their courage and selfless actions, lives were saved.

IAFF Local 22 Firefighters, Paramedics, and EMTs have been working nonstop to keep our city safe during the America 250 celebrations, FIFA soccer events, concerts, parades, and fireworks in 100+ degree temperatures . On top of that, our members have been rescuing stranded residents from floodwaters. As always, they put themselves in harm's way to save others. If you see one of our members, take a moment to thank them. They continue to show up for Philadelphia every single day, even when it feels like Mayor Parker doesn't show them the appreciation she shows police officers.
